Merry Christmas

We hope everyone had a very Blessed Christmas!

Melene opened one of her first gifts from Uncle Jake &

Tiffany and it was a wonderful and soft

bunting for Melene to wear out in the cold!

Christmas Eve!

Our Christmas Eve started out that morning with church service at Zion's sister church Christ Lutheran in Battlemountain! We then came home to relax and get ready for the Candlelight service at Zion Lutheran here in Winnemucca.

Melene's First Christmas

Our beautiful Melene and her first Christmas!

Our big night is Christmas Eve with candlelight service! We then come home to see if baby Jesus is in the manger yet, He was and both Alily and Dominick were so excited. We opened a few presents and then we hung out and ate goodies while drinking egg nog. This year we also enjoyed watching a ventriliquist comedian on DVD that Uncle Jake had gotten for Christmas.

We got to play in the snow too, though not as much as our friends in Denver. Dominick and Alily had a blast making snow angels, throwing snow balls, playing in the snow cave that Auntie Alaine dug out and sliding on the ice!

It has been lots of fun having Dominick and Alily stay with us, as they enjoyed making Christmas cookies with Beste! Melene loves having her cousins around too, cause they are silly and they make her laugh! How precious it is hearing her laugh for the first time.

Melene is 3 months today, how the time has flown! She is sitting up really well with help! This little hat was given to her from one of our dear friends Kris and it fit perfectly. Her Grandma Great also came by to say hi and bring over some little bracelt rattles, as she is discovering her hands and liking them in her mouth a lot. Thank you for the love, support, and gifts we do enjoy them very much!

Melene and I hung out with Amanda and Melanie for my 30th birthday weekend. We had lots of girl time which was wonderful for the both of us. Thanks girls!

Dominick came to visit for awhile and has been such a great help with his baby cousin. He is always checking on her and letting us know what she is doing.
Papa & Beste are enjoying having all of their grand kids around, as Alily is going to come and spend a few days with us also when she is out of school!

Melene's first Thanksgiving!

She was all ready and playing with her favorite giraffe, Jiffy!

He was a gift from the Lohmann's and always puts a smile on her face!

We celebrated my 30th birthday after Thanksgiving dinner!

I welcomed it with open arms and am

very excited to go into my 30's with my precious daughter!

Alily stayed the weekend with us! We had a great time

baking, playing horses, and here she is pulling taffy with Beste!

I remember pulling taffy with my great grandmother, which

was always a treat and so much fun!

Melene is growing like crazy and changing every day.

Her facial expressions are so much fun,

I think she gets them from her mom.

Alily loves her baby cousin and enjoys holding her,

she is a great little helper. Melene laughed for the

first time this week and Alily helped get her laughing

again this weekend, it was just precious.
